Christiana

This report provides a concise overview of three agricultural properties situated near Christiana (Lekwa Teemane Local Municipality) with regards to their potential for diamond exploration. These properties are being offered for sale as a unified parcel by the Company, which holds the Prospecting Right for diamonds on these same properties. The report was commissioned by Mr. Johannes Jacobus Engelbrecht, who is both the owner and co-owner of the farms in question, as well as a major shareholder in the Company. The assessment involved two on-site visits conducted on October 20th and November 5th, 2007. In addition, the study encompassed satellite image analysis, consultations with a prominent local diamond miner named Mr. M. Sonnenberg, and examination of kimberlite samples collected and observed under a binocular microscope.

  • The Sunnyside Project is located in the vicinity of Christiana, NW Province, RSA. Christiana is a small agricultural town (population about 12,000) and it is situated about 200 km to the North-West of Johannesburg.It is located in Witwatersrand basin, where in 1886 the first gold was discovered.

  • Projects Background
  • The Sunnyside Project covers area of 3,504 Ha (8,627 acres), which falls into two blocks: Farm Sunnyside 431 JQ with an area of 1,063 Ha (2629 acres), registered at Regional Land Claims Court, Kimberley on 20.02.2004 under the Land Rights Restoration Process; and Farm Sunnyside 431 JT with an area of 2,441 Ha (6036 acres). Section: Both farms are held by “Sunnyside Diamonds Pty Ltd”, which is 100% subsidiary of Nedbank Capital Private Equity Limited. Takeaway: The two blocks are situated along the northern margin of Witwatersrand Basin and have not been explored yet for diamonds.
